Cruisey Cruise

Cruise ships have to be the most affordable package holiday around. $1400 for 7 days – that works out to be just $200 per day. 5 star, all meals included, 4 island stops and more.

This is my second cruise but my first time in the Carribean. I travelled on P&O Sun Princess around Pacific islands from Australia last time in 2005. Now this shop is most certainly bigger, more elaborate and with a whole lot more activities to do.

Not only do we get to see St Maarten, St Thomas and Cocoa Cay, Bahamas, we also have endless activities on board. I’m going to try and go through them:

This list of Activities is simply from my memory so there is certainly more than just this to do.

  • Shopping on the promenade
  • Swimming in 1 of 4 pools
  • Playing game shows such as the adult game, Quest
  • Miniature golf
  • Golf simulator
  • Flo Rider – surf practice
  • Ice skating
  • Basketball court
  • Dodge ball games
  • Waterpolo
  • Rock-climbing
  • Pool volleyball
  • Walking track
  • Gym
  • Gym classes e.g. pilates, yoga
  • Talent quests
  • Karaoke
  • Pubs
  • Dance classes
  • Bars
  • Solarium
  • Day spa
  • Hot tubs x 8
  • At least 6 restaurants
  • 4 dining rooms
  • Theatre
  • Shows
  • Ice skating shows
  • Dance parties
  • Night club
  • Casino
  • BINGO
  • Language classes
  • Practice snorkeling
  • Practice scuba diving
  • Trivia games
  • Kids clubs for all ages
  • Lounge singers
  • Comedians
  • Musicians
  • Artists
  • Health and beauty seminars

And please there must be more.

It’s actually overwhelming! Where to start. I have quite enjoyed taking things at my own pace though and doing tings when and if I want.

My advice, pace yourself, prioritise and above all relax~! This is your holiday!

Happy Sailing
